A Christmas Morning in Deventer

Christmas morning started with a glass of champagne and a goat cheese/walnut salad while looking over Deventer. Then we proceeded to explore the city. I haven’t been in Deventer as much as you’d expect, seeing as my family owns a farm only a couple of miles away from the city. On this Christmas day walking through Deventer felt like walking through an abandoned city. The small streets I only recognize filled with people due to the Dickens Festijn that takes place there every year now deserted. Still very beautiful.
